Did you know that Russell Brand and Bob Holness (from Blockbuster) had coeliac disease, do you know anyone else who does?

My Mum told me one of the government ministers during WW2 had CD, they used to fly in bananas for him. Thats what saved my life when I was diagnosed in 1957 aged 9 months, a diet of over ripe bananas mashed up and fed via a tube. Didnt start a proper diet until age 26 when I was re-diagnosed, my Mum said they told her I'd grow out of it, no chance.

Oh my gosh, I wasn't diagnosed till I was 18, but sounds like you really suffered. It's shocking that people could be living a life 'half-lived' and in pain, due to not being diagnosed and it could be easily resolved with a change of diet!
